In a proud moment for the Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR), Rodwan Adam and Asim Niroula were elected to the SIU-level International Students Council following a university-wide democratic voting process Their peers voted for them, and that speaks volumes. It is a signal that the students around them see in them the qualities that good representation demands: integrity, empathy, and the willingness to show up for others.
The International Students Council is the formal voice of the global student community at Symbiosis International University, ensuring that the experiences, challenges, and ideas of students from across the world find their way into meaningful dialogue and change. With Rodwan Adam and Asim Niroula now at the table, SICSR has a strong presence in that conversation, and the broader international student community has two advocates who understand what it means to study far from home and still choose to lead.
This achievement is the product of an environment that Ms. Mamta Guram, Staff Coordinator, Internationalisation Cell, and Dr. Madhu Arora have worked carefully to build at SICSR, one where international students are welcomed, encouraged to grow, and inspired to take ownership. Under the continued guidance of Prof. Dr. Jatinderkumar R. Saini, Director, SICSR, the institute keeps proving that when students are given the right support, they do not just meet expectations. They exceed them.

Rodwan Adam of SICSR, elected to the SIU International Students Council 2026–2027.
